Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion - View this location on map

This rambling, 40-room clapboard house was the home and official headquarters of Royal Governor Benning Wentworth from 1753 until his death in 1770. Constructed in three stages (ca. 1695, 1730, and 1750), the house provides an interesting development of colonial architectural styles.
