Tickling the Twine - View this location on map

High school basketball is practically a religion in Indiana, and perhaps there is no more famous team than the 1954 Milan High School squad, which won the statewide championship with Bobby Plump's 'shot heard 'round the state.' Their story formed the basis for the 1986 film 'Hoosiers.' Today, Mr. Plump and his son Jonathan operate a bar, Plump's Last Shot (317-257-5867), a hoops-memorabilia-filled hangout in the Broad Ripple neighborhood and the perfect place to catch a game on TV - especially if it's the Indiana High School Boys Basketball State Finals.
