The Pink Moment - View this location on map At sunset, people will come outside and look toward the Topa Topa Mountains. When the atmospheric conditions are right - usually light cloud cover - a bluff above town will turn pink. It is called the Pink Moment. When the moment comes, some claim to see a face on Chief Peak; others say that a few times a year the entire valley, not just the mountains, glows with a pinkish hue.
