The Essence of Art - View this location on map 'The Museum of Latin American Art (562-437-1689), has one of the largest collections of contemporary Latin American paintings and sculpture anywhere. It focuses on artists who have lived or worked in Latin America since World War II. On display through March 20 is 'Tamayo: A Search for the Essence,' an assemblage of 75 of the artist's vivid, mysterious works.
