Not only is this the default spot for every dot-com hipster working from home, and probably the home of the most Web 2.0 ideas, but it's also the Saturday favorite of the core of San Fran's geek crowd. Thank the gods that unlike other wifi cafes, Ritual doesn't go deathly silent while everyone taps away; there's still plenty of conversation among patrons, and if not, the staff gets a little louder just to get their point across. The iPod changer has some good mixes too; one barista politely helped me cover when I asked what band was playing over the system -- it was Radiohead.
