Park Bistro - View this location on map

A classic French bistro, from the decor (photos of Paris in the 1950's) to the menu (magret, onglet and so forth). It offers seductive Gallic fare, good wines at reasonable prices and a cozy setting. After languishing in recent years, it looks as though the restaurant is on the upswing again with the arrival of Philippe Roussel, who has put some verve and style back in the kitchen. It's still one of the most atmospheric bistros in town, with one of the warmest welcomes. There is a daily selection of imported cheeses, and to top off the meal, thin warm apple tart with Armagnac and vanilla ice cream; fresh roasted fig tart, or the ubiquitous creme brulee. There is a large and interesting selection of tea in addition to several coffees. NYT Review
