This Landmark was once the largest diversified farm and cattle ranch in the country. It was also the home base of the 101 Wild West Show which toured from 1904 to 1916, and again from 1925 to 1931, setting national standards for rodeo entertainment. Among the performers who captivated audiences in America and Europe were Tom Mix, Will Rogers, and Bill Pickett, well-known African American cowboy who invented 'bulldogging' steer wrestling and was elected to the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
