Hotel Tomo - View this location on map The Hotel Tomo was formerly the Hotel Miyako (another Japanese-themed JDV hotel in Japantown), now totally redone with a noticeably different theme. There are different anime-style paintings and murals in every room; two 'gaming suites' stocked with snacks, Sony PS3 and Nintendo Wii consoles, bean bag chairs, and a big 'ol projection screen; and the furniture is ultra-modern with a clean birchwood feel. It has to be the only Japanese Pop hotel in town, and with such touches as anime-style pillows and iPod docks, it may be the only one in the country.
