HERCULES (Tug) - View this location on map

Constructed in 1907, HERCULES broke many towing records, beginning with her maiden voyage through the Straits of Magellan towing her sister ship. Her cargoes included logs, sailing vessels, and large disabled ships. As the last remaining largely unaltered example of an early 20th-century ocean-going steam tugboat, HERCULES recalls their role in waterborne transportation.
