Hibbs & Co.) and his second wife Mabelle Swift (heiress to Swift meat packing fortune); notable work of architects Bruce Price & Jules Henri de Sibour; elaborate and exceptionally fine interiors in French and English style, with extensive wood carving, plasterwork, and fittings; Canadian chancery and residence 1927-46 (house and furnishings purchased as Canada's first US diplomatic post); built 1906-09; Moore perished in Titanic in 1912
